Spider Lake Retreat creates the perfect setting for large, extended families to spend time together while still providing plenty of space for anyone to take a break and curl up with a good book. Companies that are looking for something outside of the box for their next meeting or retreat have found the right place!
Spider Lake Retreat has 16 bedrooms, all with two queen sized beds and a large, private bathroom.
There are 18 bathrooms in total in this large retreat home. We can easily accommodate groups of up to 64 people.
Our expansive, double kitchen provides plenty of space for some team-building cooking with two double-ovens, two large refrigerators, a large freezer, dishwashers, and 8 stovetop burners. The kitchen comes stocked with pots and pans, dishes,
cooking utensils, and more.
The private beach provides plenty of space for outdoor activities such as swimming, boating, volleyball, or simply laying out in the sun on one of the many lounge chairs. A large fire pit with benches is the perfect place to tell stories and make s’mores.
The large, walk-out recreation room is fully equipped with entertainment for the whole family! Start a friendly game of pool on our 8’ pool table and after that, maybe a game of foosball, shuffle board, air hockey, and more!

We just returned from a week (last wk of June) at the Retreat after a full week of family fun, all 30 of us!! It was our 12th consecutive annual reunion so we have some experience with facilities, and this was by far one of the best. Nice for so many reasons: clean and bright inside, great game room, great meeting rooms, very comfortable beds and furniture, incredible kitchen, and outside the lawn and trees were fantastic.
The waterfront was awesome with a nice sandy beach, floating dock to swim to, and also another dock and ramp for a skiboat. We had a family highland games on the lawn by the lake one day complete with cabor tossing (pool noodles), sword dancing (used canoe paddles instead of sharp swords) and just had a fantastic time: not much in the way of misquitoes or flies either in late June.
Spider lake itself was a clear water lake when we were there with a grassy bottom, a fun island to explore or swim around right in front of the Retreat and boat traffic was mild to medium, and no swimmers itch.
